When the stars begin to fill the sky over Cornwall, find the sleek shower room where you can wash off the day’s adventures ahead of sloping off to sleep in the twin room or the double fitted with a handy en-suite shower room. Begin your day with a trip to Readymoney Cove, a beautiful, southeast-facing beach, which is just two miles away, to rest and unwind with a picnic and a nice book.

A mile from the lodge, take the ferry to Fowey, where you may have tasty dinners at the charming cafés, followed by seaside walks and picturesque views. The National Trust's Fowey Hall Walk is a fantastic day out for walkers, visiting the woodland and creek and taking in the views over Fowey's harbour. Bodinnick, a charming riverfront community in south-east Cornwall, is situated near to Mixtow and Pont on the bank of the River Fowey. Bodinnick is a wonderful starting point from which to explore and take in the wonders of Cornwall because it is home to the quaint bar The Old Ferry Inn and a gorgeous Methodist Church. It is the perfect place to take in the breathtaking views of the Polperro Heritage Coast and is close to a number of beautiful beaches, such as Readymoney Cove, Polridmouth Cove, and Menabilly Beach. There are also numerous opportunities for walking, hiking, and cycling within the Tamar Valley aonb, which is a major draw for nature lovers. You'll never run out of things to see or do if you travel to Fowey, where you can find the Fowey Aquarium and the National Trust-owned Fowey Estuary, or farther afield to find the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens Heligan, and Golitha Falls! In addition, the charming towns of Plymouth, Looe, and Truro are easily accessible by vehicle and provide a multitude of services and attractions for people of all ages.
