Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, though some mention difficulties with the sofa and a need for bathroom improvements.

The property is equipped with essentials and praised for extras like dishwasher tablets. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a leaky shower, broken freezer door, and problematic toilet flush.

Hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome packs and treats for dogs. While these gestures are highly appreciated, guests should note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed.

Lovely old Cornish cottage. Good location, 40 minutes from Newquay, 15/20 minutes from St Ives and Mount Cove,. Good garden, secure for dogs. You pay for what you get. Good price for 4 nights. Smells musty in kitchen cupboards. Bathroom needs an overhaul!

A beautiful cottage! We received a email a day before of our arrival with location and access information. Cottage was easy to find and good size parking space for 2 medium size cars. You enter through the garden and this was a lovely size (bigger than it looks in the photos) well maintained and lovely decor (could do with an out door light - even a hot tub to relax in after a busy day adventuring 😁 there is pretty solar lights) good out door seating and a BBQ (we didn’t use) We stepped into the cottage and we were amazed - photos don’t do it justice! Welcome pack - yummy scones / jam and cream, even a jar of treats for the dog. Good seating area (my parents did struggle to get off the sofa 🙈) good size kitchen, The hosts have provided so much that I haven’t seen others do within the kitchen area (only thing missing was a washing machine - there is a Launderettes in Hayle)2 good sized bedrooms - double room good storage and comfortable bed (did struggle to plug in Amazon stick as chest of draws are tight to the wall plug) second room with x2 single beds comfortable and a area to hang clothes. Bathroom - bath tube with over head shower (shower was amazing) we did come across with a slight problem - after our showers, there was a small leak on the kitchen beam (made host aware who quickly arranged for someone to attend) Location - 15mins to 25mins drive to many beaches / towns / harbours. We have to say Gwithian Beach was one of our favourites and we visited here every evening with our Cavapoo STUNNING! We visited - Hayle small town (Most Visit Philip’s Famous Pasty’s Amazing - The Copper House Inn good pub food ) St Ives Beautiful but busy (go early!) Porthleven (one of our favourite harbour’s)St Agnes first time here Beautiful (must visit Churchtown Arts / Little Feathers Art) Perranporth Busy! (leave early) Penzance great for shopping (definitely visit The Front Room - outstanding service) I would like to say a BIG thank you to the Hosts! Stunning cottage and you’ve have done so much to ensure everyone has a great stay - We visit Cornwall every year and your cottage has topped it so far - we have already book to come back in May! 😁
