Helford is a charming community on the south bank of the Helford River known for its gorgeous setting, thatched cottages, and the Shipwrights Arms, a well-known local inn with a terrace right on the edge of the creek. Frenchman's Creek, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier, is just a short stroll away. An annual regatta is held at the Helford River Sailing Club in August.
