The Barn lies in a peaceful, rural setting at the end of a long private drive, yet only 3 miles from the bustling market town of Helston and conveniently located for the soft sandy beaches of Praa Sands and Porthleven. Standing detached and all on one level, this distinctive holiday barn has been lovingly restored and furnished to a very high standard. The Barn is ideal for couples looking for some peace and quiet on their holiday, and makes for a relaxing holiday in picturesque grounds with a small lake sheltered by tall trees. An ideal location for exploring west Cornwall including Falmouth with its busy marinas, port, restaurants, shops, National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle and the many creeks of the Helford River. Explore Land’s End and visit the beautiful coves and pretty villages on the Lizard Peninsula and St Ives. Shops and pub 3 miles.

The Barn is an outstanding cottage, one of the very best we have stayed in. Set in a lovely garden it is beautifully presented and comprehensively furnished and equipped. The perfect base to explore this part of Cornwall, including: St Just and Cape Cornwall and its industrial heritage, the Minack Theatre, the Lizard, numerous NT properties and gardens, and gorgeous beaches

We loved the Barn and the peaceful location. Chris and Andrew were delightful hosts who had the perfect balance between making us so very welcome and affording us plenty of privacy. The Barn itself is a lovely space for two. We prepared several meals there and found everything we needed. We took our bikes and explored the local cycle tracks which was eventful and fun! Once we found the right route to Porthleven we went several times and absolutely loved the laid back vibe of this seaside town/fishing village - great pubs, bars and seafood. We very much hope to visit Chris and Andrew and the peaceful Barn again.
