Coverack is a tiny fishing community on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula, not far from Britain's most southern tip, Lizard Point. With its sheltered bay beach perfect for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking, as well as its shops, pub, and restaurants, Coverack is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the main tourist routes. St. Keverne is 4 miles from Poldowrian and offers a Post Office, as well as shops and two pubs. The Lizard Peninsula is home to some of the world's most unique and beautiful geology and flora, as well as numerous picturesque coves and beaches. The cliffs at Lizard Point, battered by the sea and the wind, offer spectacular views and great hiking along this section of the South West Coast Path. Helston, an inland market town, hosts the annual Flora Day Festival, and Gweek is home to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. The fun of Flambards can be reached in under half an hour, and the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy can be seen in action once a year at the Culdrose Airfield, which is less than ten miles away. Coverack's location makes it convenient to visit the rest of the Lizard Peninsula, including its many beaches and quaint towns like St. Ives and Falmouth.

Our arrival was marred by sat nav taking us to wrong location, some miles away. I would recommend using Google maps and your notes should clarify that Gwentner Rd is that running through the village of Gwentner and the farm track leads off this. A sign there would be helpful or direct guests to follow signs to Trerenwith farm. The track is much worse than we expected, especially the last steep bit leading to the property. Given the weather, we had to use sun room as drying room for coats and boots. The back door was unusable due to large puddle. If you are accommodating 10 people , 6 single coat hooks and mugs is rather mean. Also more hooks needed in bathrooms for drying towels. 2 small towel rails is not enough. A few small things but spoiling an otherwise delightful property.

The 0.7 mile drive from the property is extremely bumpy / uneven and not one you’d want to do very often during your start….and we had a Jeep Wrangler. When the weather is as hot as it was during our visit, the conservatory is unbearable, blinds are needed here as well as in the living area. Handing areas are need, no where to hang clothes on the bedroom, no where to hang towels in the bedrooms/ bathrooms and no toilet roll holders. The walk down to the beach in inaccessible for some individuals, those with disabilities or elderly with walking issue, breathing difficulties will not cope well at all. The induction job is a nightmare, and very inconsistent temperamental. The oven also takes an extremely long time to come to temperature.
