...worked as it should. We really enjoyed being in Polperro for the firework display. Love the very friendly Blue Peter and enjoyed some great pub grub at the 3 Pilchards Submitted by Michael on 13/11/2016

...entered the cottage it was everything the website had said! Beautifully designed, comfortable, cosy and homely! It had everything you needed and was a pleasure to be staying there! The dog settled in immediately as did we and we started our week of investigating Polperro and the surrounding areas. Friendly local at the Crumplehorn Inn, delicious seafood at local restaurants, especially the House on the Props, where they also made their own walnut bread and desserts - you must have the meringue with whatever flavours you desire and which stands approx. 6" tall but it didn't beat me :). The fish dishes here are amazing and if you were ever craving a curry, the home made Cod loin in a Sri Lankan curry sauce was full of fresh ingredients, as were all of the dishes there. The Blue Peter Inn had a fabulous atmosphere, as did the 3 Pilchards. Seaton Beach was perfect for the dog and we started most of our days there and ventured into Looe, Downderry, Mevagissey and Fowey from there. Surprising how close everything is! Overall as beautiful as other areas were, I am going to rebook to stay in Polperro as you have the evenings to wander around the little streets and sample the food in all of the local restaurants. Fabulous time, thank you Helen for such quality accommodation. Submitted by Christine on 12/09/2016
