Today, this picturesque retreat offers accommodation for up to seven guests, set in the rural landscape of St Clether. Ta Mill, a charming Cornwall retreat on the edge of Bodmin Moor, features 15 quality self-catering cottages and lodges, including Forge Cottage.

Located on the ground floor, the lovely sitting room features exposed beams, a smart television and a welcoming wood-burning stove, creating a cosy ambience for those colder evenings. With two comfortable sofas and a window seat, you can fully enjoy the beauty of the surrounding scenery and observe the delightful wildlife. The exposed beams follow through to the kitchen/dining area where you will find a well-equipped kitchen, with an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, making cooking and preparing food a joy. Additionally, the dining area provides ample space for all seven guests to comfortably dine together. Completing the ground floor, there is a spacious family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower, wash basin and WC. Upstairs, the charm of exposed beams continues, leading you to three conveniently sized bedrooms. Bedrooms one and two boast cosy double beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The third bedroom is accessible from bedroom two and is furnished with three full size single beds, making it an ideal space for accommodating extra guests or family members. Additionally, there is another bathroom upstairs, complete with a wash basin and WC.

Outside you will find a stone walled garden with a picnic table which comfortably seats seven guests and a charcoal barbecue.

Forge Cottage is close to the ancient wonder of Bodmin Moor with standing stones, quaint streams, woodland and lakes. Whether you want to take in the sea air or take to the waves, the surfing beaches of the north coast are a 20-minute drive away. At Ta Mill, you can enjoy a range of activities, including a 9-hole pitch'n'putt course, a games room featuring table tennis, a pool table, darts, and various other games, as well as an outdoor play area for children. For fitness enthusiasts, there's a fully equipped gym to help you stay active during your stay. Additionally, you can elevate your experience with the option to hire a hot tub, swim spa, and a wood-fired sauna privately, adding a touch of luxury to your getaway.
