Guests say

Guests are delighted with the immaculate and well-equipped 15 Horizon View, praising its cleanliness, privacy, and the peaceful environment. The lodge's private garden and hot tub are highlights, contributing to a relaxing holiday experience. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The lodge receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its immaculate condition. One guest noted they left it cleaner than on arrival, but this seems an isolated case against the overall positive feedback.

The location is appreciated for its seclusion and privacy, with a peaceful setting ideal for a relaxing holiday. However, some guests noted the lack of views and the grown shrubs and trees, which may affect the openness and light inside the lodge.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the lodge spacious and the beds comfortable. However, there are comments about soft pillows and mattresses, and one mention of a broken toilet flush, slightly lowering the score.

Facilities are highly rated, with the lodge being well-equipped and the hot tub being a popular feature. Maintenance is prompt when issues arise. Deductions are made for minor maintenance issues like broken outside lights and the hot tub's jets not being strong.

While guests express appreciation for the lodge and its amenities, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.

The hot tub was also clean and hot ready for us to jump straight in. The lodge itself is positioned near a small lookout mound and a grass area in the park, good for the dogs to have a walk around. If I was to criticise anything the T.v wasn't working when we arrived, there was no arial connector just a wire shoved in the back of the T.v. We did report it and was offered to fix but we brought a fire stick with us, which we plugged in and that was good enough for us, just reported for the next user's. Also the decking could do with a clean and a power wash, very green and slippy in places. Other then that we had no issues with heating, water or wifi, the lodge was warm when we arrived, with a welcome pack of things to do, restaurants and places to visit. Maybe a small instruction manual on how to use some of the appliances, oven, dishwasher, hot-tub might be helpful for other guests. Overall we had a really lovely time visiting many places around the area with the dogs and it was nice to come back to the lodge a relax in the hot-tub after a long day walking. I would recommend this lodge to others and would be more the happy to visit again. Thankyou.

Absolutely beautiful place quiet private and not overlooked at all . Welcome pack was a nice touch and the curtesy phone call while on our way to say it was ready early was well received thank you. Was a lovely place to come back to after a busy day seeing the sights and the hot tub was great for relaxing. The cabin had all the things you’d need for your stay all the way down to bathrobes which were unexpected but very appreciated . All in all 5*
