Unwin in front of it in the sitting room and flick on the TV while the designated chef of the groups makes themselves at home in the fully-equipped kitchen. Sample their culinary creations around the dining table or head out to the picnic table on the communal lawn to enjoy dinner with an unbeatable backdrop of the Cornish countryside. When the sun disappears behind the rolling fields, travel to the first floor to wash off the day before sloping off to sleep in either the king-size, twin (zip/link) or single bedroom. Upton Cross is a quaint Cornish village on the outskirts of Bodmin Moor that was once home to miners but is now a peaceful refuge. The Cheesewrings, Sharp Tor, the engine houses at Minions, Kitt Hill, and Caradon Hill are just a few of the many breathtaking sights that can be reached from this location on Bodmin Moor. There is a Post Office and a classic bar in the village that dates back to the 17th century. The pounding waves of the north shore and the calm waters and fishing communities of the south are both easily accessible. Six miles away, at Siblyback Lake, anglers and water sport enthusiasts may cool down, while nearby rivers provide salmon and trout fishing.
