Nestled in the Cornish countryside in the small village of Moorswater near Dobwalls is Keepers Cottage. This charming stone-fronted cottage boasts access to four acres of paddock and a front courtyard, is full of character, and has an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, slate tiles and wooden accents throughout. Keepers Cottage sleeps two adults making it the perfect location for a romantic couples retreat to the countryside; there is also a single room available for one child. After a busy day exploring the Cornish countryside and nearby coast, cross the threshold and begin your romantic retreat by cosying up with your partner on the sofa and flicking on the TV; stay snuggled up while your partner prepares a tasty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoy this together at the dining table before popping open a bottle of fizz and toasting your getaway; while the evening away chatting about the memories you have created before heading upstairs for some well-earned rest and rejuvenation. The first floor is home to a king-size and a single bedroom, along with a shower room. Keepers Cottage is an idyllic location for a couple's getaway to Cornwall. Dobwalls is near to Liskeard, Bodmin Moor, and the north and south Cornish coasts. Looe, Fowey, and Polperro are 15 miles to the south, while Padstow and Polzeath are a pleasant drive to the north. Sailing, fishing, and watersports are available at Siblyback Lake. Bodmin Moor offers excellent hiking. The Eden Project is 15 miles away, and Plymouth is 30 minutes by car or train from Liskeard. This is an excellent holiday base with the Barbican harbour district, aquarium, and shopping, restaurants, and theatres.
