Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This detached lodge is in an attractive setting beside a babbling brook in the Rosecraddoc holiday village grounds. It is ideal for couples looking for a cosy, well-furnished property in a quieter location offering guests more privacy, yet just a few minutes drive from Bodmin Moor and only 2 miles from the market town of Liskeard.
For the outdoor types there is walking close by on Bodmin Moor, including Minions, the highest village in Cornwall, The Hurlers stone circle and the Cheesewring natural rock formations. Also worth a visit are Sterts Theatre and Arts Centre, and the famous Carnglaze Caverns. There is horse riding nearby and golf courses within 20 miles, including the Jack Niclaus course at St Mellion. There is also a sports and leisure centre with swimming pool, squash, indoor bowling, badminton and fitness suite, 5 miles away.
Nearby Siblyback Lake offers windsurfing, dinghy sailing, canoeing and fishing, and a lovely circular lakeside walk. Beach 12 miles. Shop 2 miles and restaurant on-site.

Grass was freshly cut was all over the patio furniture and all up the front door we kept bringing it in all the time I had to sweep every day, the shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it. Had to bend over the unit to use the sink. There was dust on the bedroom bed frame and units, no signal even using the WiFi code, had to travel to shops. Beaches, and places to walk our dogs nothing within walking distance. No patio umbrella. The rotary line was in the shade, cold when we got there the heater didn't work in the living room had to put the rings on the cooker to hear the room messaged the number giver was told the heater will come on once it's boosted it came on the following day. Was hard to use the heaters in the bedrooms to help dry all the towels we used to mop up the water in the bathroom.

Queit, peaceful location within short drive from town centre where everything is easily accessable. Internet connection is intermitant but that is the same in many areas of Cornwall.

Westville is a beautiful cosy little cottage Geoff was so accommodating loved the little wood burner and had a very comfortable sleep for the week Could do with a few more utensils such as a cheese grater and a casserole dish Would definitely return for another stay ❤️
