A pretty, traditional cottage close to the popular harbour side town of St Ives on the North Coast, and with Marazion, St Michael's Mount and Penzance to the South.
This lovely quaint former tin miner's cottage is centrally located between St Ives, Hayle and Penzance, giving perfect access for walkers, beach lovers and surfers alike. Just a short drive away to Mounts Bay to relax in one of the many cafes/bistros around Marazion, whilst taking in the stunning views across to St Michaels Mount. The coastal walks and beaches of St Ives Bay are just North of the cottage, a favourite with artists for generations and a surfer's paradise. To the west lies Land's End and the beautiful beaches of Sennen Cove. Penzance is close and the largest town in the area with plenty of choice for shopping days, restaurants and cinema. Catch a day trip to the Isles of Scilly on the Scillonian, visit Newlyn Harbour and Mousehole or visit endless National trust properties, aonb walks and beaches and stunning natural scenery. Local attractions include the beaches on the north and south coast, the Tate Modern in St Ives, Tremenheere Sculpture gardens, Poldark and Geevor Tin mines and the experience of the rugged coastal Minack theatre. The cottage is only 1.5 miles from St Erth main line rail station from which the scenic St Ives coastal train (park and ride) can be taken. Within 100 yards of your door you'll find a regular bus service which goes to Penzance, Hayle and St Ives, with open topped buses (in season). Also conveniently located for the A30, this cottage has excellent transport links whatever your mode of transport may be. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with TV and DVD, and 1 twin. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor. Lounge/diner: with exposed beams, woodburner effect electric fire and Smart TV. Kitchen: with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside: enclosed garden area with furniture and BBQ. Amenities: off road parking for 1 car, further parking available nearby. Bed linen, towels (not beach towels), electric, gas central heating and WI FI included. Regrets no smoking within the property. Location: beach 2 miles, pubs and shops within walking distance. Arrival: Access from 3pm. Friday arrivals welcome during March, April, September and October. Need to know: Sleeps 4. 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Smart TV. Enclosed rear garden. Off road parking for one car, additional parking available nearby. Electric fire.
