59 Monterey Cottages is a beautifully modernised three-bedroom cottage central to the Maenporth facilities, with views of the sea through the mature Monterey pines that the cottage is named after. Modern, bright, and boasting two brand new bathrooms and downstairs cloakroom, it has all the luxury touches you’d expect from a high-end property.

The open-plan living area has comfortable sofas, and a large table for family meals. Doors open on to the private patio, and there’s a kitchen with everything you need to cook up exceptional meals for the week. Upstairs, the master bedroom has large windows opening to the view over the sea in all its dramatic moods, and a luxury en-suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom, as well as the downstairs cloakroom.

Maenporth is an exclusive, secluded resort overlooking a beautiful sheltered cove, but close to the bustling port town of Falmouth, with its historical associations. The countryside around here is glorious: perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet, the coast, and the great outdoors. The houses that comprise the resort are sheltered by established trees, and there’s a good restaurant and bar overlooking the family friendly beach where guests can unwind, enjoy some good food and watch the world go by. The resort has a large indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna, 2 tennis courts, a children’s play area and a games room with table tennis and pool table. There are plenty of scenic walks along the South West Coastal Path for those who want the exercise, and the sandy beach will keep adults and children endlessly entertained. It’s a great destination for families or couples all year round.
