Salty Cottage is within walking distance of the great surfing beach at Stanbury Mouth cove (rocky path down to beach, not for the faint-hearted) and the Coast Path, as well as Cornwall's highest cliffs. The Tamara Way, a 87 miles coast to coast walking route, pass near Salty Cottage, The starting point of this amazing nature filled track is located in Morwenstow, around 1 mile away from the cottage. It's a short drive to the sand surf beaches and lively pubs, restaurants and bars in the lovely seaside town of Bude. A fantastic place to relax, unwind, find great surfing coves or just walk to the pub by footpath - remember to take a torch.

For the dogs, importantly the garden was fully enclosed which made the time we spent at the cottage stress free as we didn't need to worry about one of them escaping. All of our needs were catered for and it felt like a home from home. The property was within walking distance of a pub (food was fantastic), tea rooms and the coast which was also very appealing We would definitely recommend.

The cottage was a delight, warm, plenty of room, comfortable beds and everything we needed to cater for the family. The dogs were not forgotten and it was lovely to be able to let them into the garden without any worries. All three generations, aged from 4 to 70 agreed they would love to return and hope it won't be too long before we can visit again.
