The location of this flat is amazing with stunning view (including a sunset outcrop the left!) and steps down to the beach only minutes away. The flat itself must have had flooring and carpet replaced since some other reviews as it all looked brand new. It is well equipped (but you need to bring own tea towels!) and it’s very clean. The kitchen & bathroom seem to be newly fitted too, and there is a clothes maiden for drying wetsuits. (I think the washing machine may need rebalancing, it has quite a shake on it). The only two downsides are that the main double bed is uncomfortable. It’s extremely old and soft and despite having an added topper, really needs replacing. Secondly, the level of privacy you get is completely dependent on your neighbour’s interpretation of “being considerate to others”. We have stayed in flat 2 before and had no problem but unfortunately this time the people in flat 3 had a huge family/friends gathering in Newquay and used their flat as a gathering point morning and night. Unfortunately, instead of using the front door which would have avoided this whole scenario, there was a constant stream of visitors just a couple of feet away from us even when sat in bed having an early cuppa or in the evening in our open doorway, some having a good old nosey in. Whilst we appreciate every flat can share the space in the front, they could have got to it in a more considerate way and appreciated that what might be a quick trip for one of them, when you’ve got a party of 16 doing exactly the same thing twice a day it can be a bit intrusive!

This was our second time in this apartment, everything about it was amazing. Ground floor so easily accessible. Parking at back of apartment. The apartment itself was immaculate and well presented, there was milk in fridge tea and coffee and pack of biscuits. Views over Fistral beach amazing. Walk into town was hard first few times but once used to the hill it was ok. Can not fault apartment at all
