Climb the stairs to Apartment 6, the double bedroom is bright and perfect for couples, with an en-suite to avoid the morning rush. The second bedroom is snug and warm, with a bunk bed—a single up top and a double at the bottom—ensuring versatility for all guests. The family bathroom has a bath and a shower, so there is an option to soak your muscles after your beach adventures or take an invigorating shower. Entering into the hub of the home, the open-plan kitchen, dining area, and seating space is welcoming and tastefully decorated, with blue accents to match the blue water of the nearby beach. The kitchen is contemporary, with adequate equipment to cook or bake, why not try baking some Cornish pasties, the breakfast bar is a great place for the first meal of the day before explorations begin. There is also a dining area and a corner sofa to get cosy and enjoy a family movie. Doors lead out to the balcony, providing blissful views of the town. Once you’ve packed up your surfboard, you can enjoy Little Fistral Beach, a surfer's paradise. It offers a great walk when the tide is out and a calming sunset for a cherished family moment. Newquay Zoo is a great place for families to visit, with penguins, red pandas, and a tropical house with birds and sloths. The Royal Cornwall Museum is packed with local history and an interesting mineral gallery. Visit Lappa Valley to take a steam train through a narrow gauge, try a round of crazy golf, or hire some pedalos at the boating lake—this place provides some truly magical views. If you’ve worked up an appetite, visit Fort Inn, Newquay; it is a restaurant overlooking the harbour and beach, with award-winning beer. Apartment 6 provides a cheerful base near the Cornish coast.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand, three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within a short drive. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is just a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
