No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden and the path is not suitable for those with mobility issues.. Chlobo Cottage is a delightful two-bedroom retreat, perfect for couples and small families and one dog. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a welcoming courtyard at the front of the cottage, inside you will find a bright, contemporary open-plan living area, where large windows on three sides create a spacious and airy atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and when the weather is warm, you can take advantage of the outdoor dining area for an amazing al fresco experience. At the rear, is a large, enclosed garden with a lush lawn offers stunning countryside views, this peaceful space is ideal for children and dogs to play freely, as well as for outdoor dining and barbecues. Designated parking is available in a private car park, access to the property is via a path to the right-hand side of the car park, follow this path round to the left up a small hill where you will find the cottage tucked away, to the houses opposite the parking area.
Porth Beach, just a short walk away, is a family favourite with its vast golden sands, if you’re looking for great surf, Watergate Bay is the place to be—backed by rugged cliffs, it’s also one of the best dog-friendly beaches in the area. Newquay boasts several other beautiful beaches to explore as well. For walkers, nature lovers and gardeners, the stunning coastal paths offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline, enjoy a scenic stroll around the Porth Island Nature Reserve or visit the picturesque Trenance Gardens for a more leisurely escape. Chlobo Cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing seaside getaway, whether you’re seeking adventure or a peaceful retreat by the coast. Please note that the path is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

This would be a great place for a summer holiday with the kids.It has a very nice enclosed garden area with space at the front for a table and plenty of seating which is private.The interior is kitted out in a very smart modern style.The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The second bedroom has children in mind with bunk beds and toys.We did find the sofa uncomfortable. Also we couldn’t get the heating to perform well enough in the evening so slightly chilly. The path up to the building is narrow quite steep and uneven in places which might be awkward for less agile guests.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Chlobo Cottage and we are already planning to return again next year! The cottage is a perfect location to Porth beach. It had everything we could possibly need. There was a travel cot, highchair and baby bath provided for us which was perfect for our 6 month old baby. My 5 year old daughter loved “her bedroom”. It had Lego, kids books, board games, jigsaws and lots of other bits for kids to play with. There is a lovely garden around the cottage which was great for our very well behaved dog! It backs on to a field with cows which was lovely to see! The gardens great in the summer and has a bbq for you to use and lovely garden furniture for you to sit out on. There was milk, tea and coffee provided upon arrival which was a bonus after a 7 hour car journey!There is a caravan park a two minute walk from the cottage that has an outdoor swimming pool which I believe you can pay to use, there is a park and kids entertainment in the evening which you can enjoy free of charge which was great for my 5 year old daughter! Louise was a fantastic host and sent an email the day of arrival with lots of suggestions and recommendations for us which was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will see you again next year x
