Churchtown Cottage is a charming Cornish retreat situated in the picturesque village of Cubert, dominated by a beautiful 14th-century church and conveniently located just 4¾ miles from Newquay. Given the cottage’s age, be mindful of the low ceiling upon entering the property and the low ceiling when descending the stairs—while the rest of the property poses no issue. The owner has thoughtfully renovated the cottage, preserving original features such as exposed stone walls, authentic slate flooring, and a fireplace with a wood burner.
Outside, a covered area provides a tranquil spot for reading or enjoying your morning coffee, while a larger table on the patio invites al fresco dining. What a beautiful place! It is in a perfect location - just 5 minute drive to the beach which is stunning! It’s also a national trust beach so parking free with a national trust membership. Around 10-15mins to Newquay and 35-40 to Falmouth. The property itself was immaculate and located in a quiet area. Clean and tidy. Quality and comfortable bedding.Host was excellent and easy to communicate with.Would definitely recommend and ideal in the busy season as you’re away from all of the hustle and bustle but still so close either driving or walking.

After a hectic year as a family, Chuchtown cottage was the perfect release. Beautiful house and the effort from the host and village with xmas decorations was magical. Excellent location for peace but easy reach for local beaches. Would book again.
