Only a 15 yard stroll to the beautiful beach at Porth, Little Lookover is all that it promises to be, a beachside, semi-detached holiday home, complete with en-suite refurbished in 2020, on one of Cornwall’s best family beaches. You are spoilt for choice with things to do in the local area, from cliff walks along the coastal path or out onto Porth Island with its Bronze Age archeological site, to exciting water sports such as body boarding. However, if it is relaxation you are wanting, this glorious stretch of sand is ideal for lazy days in the sun.
The seaside village of Porth offers a range of cafés and pubs to enjoy, or spend a day unwinding at the spa located at a local hotel a short walk away. There is a friendly pub just across the beach serving local ales and home cooked food, a favourite with visitors and locals alike. The pub offers a terrace that is right on the sand! Golf, horse riding, surf lessons and bike hire are all available locally.
Porth is just a short walk from the popular coastal town of Newquay. Why not spend a day here to explore the towns surf culture, shops, cafés and restaurants, or discover the variety of animals in the zoo. Just a short walk in the other direction, along the coastal path, brings you to Watergate Bay, home to a kite surfing centre. Other popular tourist destinations including Padstow, Truro, St Ives and Fowey are all easily reached, a must see to experience all that this beautiful county has to offer. Beach 15 yards. Lovely little cottage with everything you need, is provided by the very helpful owners. The cottage is just a few metres from the Porth Beach and the coastal path to Newquay. We would definitely recommend it, to anyone who wants, a quiet and convenient accommodation with perfect location.
