The Rio sets a new level for caravan holidays and are fitted out to a high spec, including flat-screen televisions, fitted kitchen, master bedroom with double bed, a twin bedroom and pull-out in the lounge. The Rio are comfortable, double glazed, central heated and has a pull-out settee conversion in living room as well.

The site itself is perfectly located on Porth Beach. The beach isn’t the nicest but has a nice pub, shop, coffee shop and pizza restaurant. The site itself is spotlessly clean. On arrival to our caravan the outside area was messy with rubbish and beer bottle lids. The van itself was not cleaned to a high quality, with stains on the carpet and upholstery. The bathroom floor was filthy.The kitchen was disgusting, with a broken jug, and grease covering the knife rack. I had to clean the fridge before I could put any of our food in. I didn’t cook in the van all week as it was filthy.We wouldn’t stay again. For the price for the school holidays it was ok, but I would still expect a clean place to stay.

We stayed in the Rio caravan and were really impressed. It was spotless on arrival, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our family holiday. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything required for cooking, and the caravan felt modern and well looked after.We had a small issue with the kitchen tap, but after reporting it, a member of the maintenance team came out promptly and arranged for a plumber to replace it the same day. The customer service was excellent and the issue was resolved quickly.The caravan was in a great location, just a short walk from the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book the Rio caravan again.
