Guests say

Rosetta Apartments - Ocean Mist in Newquay receives high praise for its spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean accommodation. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable beds, and convenient location within walking distance of both the town centre and Fistral Beach. The property is dog-friendly and offers secure parking, with many reviewers noting the ease of access and excellent communication from the host. While a few minor maintenance issues and a single concern regarding pet cleaning charges were mentioned, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a popular choice for families and returning visitors.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotlessly clean and well-maintained on arrival. Only one review mentions a damp smell and some dog hair concerns post-stay, but these are outweighed by the consistently positive feedback.

Guests consistently praise the location, noting its proximity to Newquay town centre, Fistral Beach, and local shops. The convenience of walking to key attractions is a recurring positive theme.

Reviewers frequently mention the spaciousness of the apartment, comfortable beds, and a homely atmosphere. The property is described as larger than expected and very comfortable for both couples and families.

The apartment is described as fully equipped with everything needed for a family holiday, including an outside shower and secure parking. Minor issues such as a fridge cutting out and the washing machine being in an outside shed were noted but did not significantly impact guests' stays.

Guests appreciated the clear communication, easy access via key safe, and dog-friendly policy. However, there is no mention of welcome gifts or arrival packs, and one guest noted the absence of basic provisions on arrival. Please note that gifts or arrival packs are not guaranteed.

5th year running in Newquay, 1st time at Rosetta Apartments - it never lets us down. The apartment was perfect. We’re already looking for next year and would highly recommend it to anyone. 5 stars 😃

Honest review. The apartment is in a great location and is spacious, the rooms are all a lovely size and decorated very nicely throughout. There was a few hiccups during our stay. A very strong damp smell in the bedroom and en suite, the bedroom tvs had no channels and the fridge kept cutting out. The washing machine is also in an outside shed. If you arrive late at night like us when the shops are closed you will need to wait until the morning for your tea as there is no arrival pack either. But there is a shop very close by. The good ultimately outweighed the bad and I never complained as these issues didn't really effect our stay. However after departure (out by 10am, all the beds stripped as requested, washing up done, bins taken out) I recieved a message to stay there is dog hair and I need to pay extra cleaning. I asked for pictures as we have travelled with our dog for 6 years and never had this issue and I was shocked that this owner would state I needed to pay extra cleaning for a normal amount of dog hair at a "dog friendly" apartment and offered no apology or even an reply for the issues I fed back. I would be very wary staying here with your pet especially if it has fur! We certainly wouldn't stay again.

We regularly stay in holiday homes and this property was by quite the margin, the best we have stayed in. Comfortable, very spacious and equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. Conveniently located to Newquay town centre and Fistral beach being no more than a 10 minute walk, nothing felt too far!Sainsbury’s is a short walk away and there’s a SPAR shop right next door. We were only a party of two, however, this property easily sleeps 6. We would absolutely book this property again.
