The coast path connects the bay to Mawgan Porth (2 miles) and Newquay's seven bays, opening up long cliff-top walks with sweeping views of the coastline and the sea below. Surf competitions and music festivals run at Watergate Bay throughout the year, and restaurants and bars line the beachfront.
