Sandpipers in Padstow is praised for its great location, comfortable beds, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the spaciousness and the property's refurbishment, though some feel it's slightly expensive. While generally clean, there are concerns about maintenance, such as a tired kitchen and safety issues. A welcome tray adds a thoughtful touch.
The property is generally regarded as clean, but there are mentions of flaking paint and plaster due to dampness, which requires attention. No other significant cleanliness issues were noted.
The location is consistently highlighted as excellent, being very close to the harbour and amenities, which guests find extremely convenient.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. However, some guests mention that the sofas are tired and not very comfortable, slightly affecting the overall comfort.
While the kitchen is well-equipped, there are reports of tired facilities, safety concerns, and maintenance issues like a faulty gas hob and missing TV. These factors suggest the need for updates and repairs.
The welcome tray is mentioned as a lovely and thoughtful gesture. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, guests should consider this a pleasant surprise rather than an expectation.

Excellent location. Very short walk to the harbour and the nearest car park is a few minutes walk away. We had no problems with the property and would definitely stay again.

truly excellent right in the heart of Padstow. However, for the amount of money charged, the house no longer feels up to standard. The kitchen is quite tired, and the gas hob seemed to have a mind of its own. The back door wouldn’t stay shut unless locked, which was inconvenient. The damp issue at the front of the property appears unresolved blocked guttering seems to be causing moisture damage, with paint and plaster flaking off and needing constant vacuuming. We also noticed some safety concerns, including missing fire alarms in the stairwell. The shower in the main bathroom was poorly fixed. Additionally, the TV constantly lost signal, making it difficult to relax in the evenings.Overall, while the location is fantastic, the property itself really needs some attention and updates to match the price being asked.
