My husband and I had a lovely time at the boat house, if we were not in our fifties we would have slept on the mezzanine, but as we need to get up in the night we chose to sleep on the sofa bed which was fine. The boat house was close enough to walk to Padstow which only took about 20 minutes and it is close to a supermarket which was handy. We both had a great time and we would go back again.

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at The Boathouse! Rob and Sunny were perfect hosts, always available if we were to have any questions. The Boathouse was lovely and clean with everything you could need. Quick and easy walk into Padstow. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Sunny & Rob!

We were so disappointed when arriving at this property as we thought it was a Boat House fairly near the sea.as per the website description . However it was an annexe which used to be a garage housing a salmon boat at one time situated on a run down estate. The place itself was new but to access the sleeping area there was a dangerous stairs and you then had to crawl on your hands and knees to get on the mattress on the floor. Unsuitable for most. The description of this property on the website did not reflect the actual place at all. If you just want a bed for the night ok but not the full coastal Holliday experience. It was a good 20 minute walk to the town not a stone’s throw as described. There were no outside photos for good reason as the area was not a desirable one.
