Helford, a stunning barn conversion, sits in the hamlet of Treverva, just two and a half miles from the old Cornish market town of Penryn. Offering spacious, luxury accommodation in a tranquil, idyllic setting overlooking Argal Reservoir, it is the perfect base for touring the area. Arrive at Treverva Farm via a private drive leading to the holiday cottages and stables. The property boasts thoughtfully designed reverse-level accommodation to make the most of the superb views from the open-plan living room. There are four bedrooms, two of which benefit from en-suite facilities, along with a further bathroom shared between the two bedrooms on the ground floor. Each bedroom offers zip/link beds, giving you the option of king-size or twin arrangements. From the doorstep, you can enjoy scenic walks through the surrounding countryside, while a short drive brings you to Falmouth, with its beaches, restaurants, pubs, independent shops, galleries, the National Maritime Museum, and Pendennis Castle. The property also offers easy access to the Helford River and the nearby Glendurgan Gardens and Trebah Gardens. Close by, the Kernow Adventure Park provides water sports for all ages, from wakeboarding and ringo rides to an inflatable assault course, ensuring a fun-filled day. On site, guests can also make use of the grass tennis court, with rackets and balls provided. Please note the court may be closed in adverse weather to protect the surface. The children loved the Dart board, playstation, table tennis, pool table and the hot tub!! The tennis court was closed due to the time of year, but another brilliant option to keep everyone entertained. The location is ideal, only a short drive from Falmouth centre, and other areas of interest. The beautiful Argal lake is accessed at the bottom of the garden and well worth a visit. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend
