Dexter is a beautiful cottage situated in the small hamlet of Treverva in North Helford, one of the prettiest areas in the region. Named after the breed of cattle often seen grazing in the surrounding fields, this ground-floor apartment is furnished in a contemporary style while retaining plenty of its original character. Step inside to an open-plan living area featuring a breakfast bar and comfortable seating. There are two spacious, well-appointed bedrooms, one of which has zip/link beds, offering flexibility for both adult and family groups. From the doorstep, you can enjoy scenic walks through the picturesque countryside, while just a short drive takes you to Falmouth, with its beaches, restaurants, pubs, independent shops, galleries, the National Maritime Museum, and Pendennis Castle.
The property also provides easy access to the Helford River, as well as the stunning Glendurgan Gardens and Trebah Gardens. For those seeking adventure, the nearby Kernow Adventure Park offers water sports for all ages, from wakeboarding and ringo rides to an inflatable assault course, guaranteeing a fun-filled day. On-site, guests can enjoy a grass tennis court, with rackets and balls provided. Please note the court may be closed in adverse weather to protect the surface. We had a week in Dexter with our 5 year old and 7 month old and everything was perfect. It was such a nice location, my son loved saying morning and night to the horses every day. Will be recommending.
