Newlyn is steeped in Cornish tradition, famous for fishing and art, for which the light and scenery provide the perfect backdrop. The cottage is just a short distance from Newlyn Art Gallery and the seafront. The world famous Newlyn School of Art provides exceptional tuition offering short courses from beginners to the more advanced. The area is becoming a popular destination with foodies, notably Mackerel Sky and the much acclaimed Tolcarne pub, which has been transformed by top chef Ben Tuncliffe into a first class gastro pub. Visit the Minack Open Air Theatre cut in to the rock face overlooking Porthcurno, the legendary Land’s End and Sennen Cove with its beautiful long white sandy beach popular with surfers.
