Susanna's Apartment in Cornwall boasts stunning views, particularly of St. Michael's Mount, and offers a peaceful, secluded location ideal for coastal walks. The spacious main room is a highlight, with ample light and homely touches. Guests appreciate the property's charm and the thoughtful inclusion of scones and milk, though these are not guaranteed for every stay.
Cleanliness received mixed reviews. Some guests found the apartment clean and comfortable, while others reported issues with dust, cobwebs, and unclean kitchenware. The cleaning team supervisor was praised for responsiveness.
The location is highly praised for its beauty and proximity to coastal paths and beaches. The views are consistently described as outstanding, contributing to a serene and picturesque holiday experience.
Comfort had varied feedback. The spaciousness and furnishings were well-received, but several guests reported the mattresses as uncomfortable. The tranquility of the area was noted as a positive aspect of comfort.
Facilities and maintenance reviews were mixed. Positive remarks were made about the spacious kitchen and living areas, but there were several complaints about outdated decor, insufficient cutlery, and poor shower facilities. TV reception and Wi-Fi were also noted as areas for improvement.
While guests mentioned the welcome inclusion of scones and milk, there is not enough consistent information about other thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

And better instructions for the Amazon stick for the technically challenged (like us). We were delighted with Susannaâs Apartment. One felt really rather special snuggling down in the comfy sofas. Oh, and we got a hoot out of the pull chain loo flush.

It offers superb views on St. Michael's Mount in the distance. The kitchen is well equipped. In addition there are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a bathroom with a toilet and a small room with a second toilet. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The views are just breathtaking. The main room, as you walk in knocks you for six ! and is a fantastic size, again the views looking across to St Michaels Mount Penzance Newlyn, and Mousehole are never to tire of ! The bedrooms are adequate, but do lack that wow factor , especially after the front room / kitchen ! The whole place could do with a deep clean . The tv size is dismal 32" reception was intermittent and could only watch a couple of channels , the fire stick was not working . We were not to bothered , but it is nice after a day out to relax and watch tv . But the whole experience of staying here outwieghs any niggly problems ! We had a fantastic week there ! Recommend 10 /10 for wow factor ! The Company looking after the Castle were helpful with any problem , and did try to sort a power lead for the firestick . If you visit you will love it !
