Back in the town centre, colourful streets are lined with independent boutiques and cafes, and a golf course sits on the green clifftops above. North along the coast lie the surfing beaches of Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay, while to the south, the heritage coastline and unspoiled bays around St Agnes provide quieter shores and scenic coastal walks.
