Looking over open fields, this charming lodge is the perfect base for couples and small families to explore both the countryside and coastline.
Inside, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, with everything you would need for your stay, a welcoming living area, and two comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed with an ensuite toilet and basin, while the second bedroom has a single bed and pull-out bed to accommodate an additional guest. The living area has an electric fire which adds a cosy glow on a cold evening, while you settle down with a good book or watch your favourite TV programme. With everything you would need for your stay.
There’s plenty to do on-site and in the surrounding area. Guests have free access to the indoor heated swimming pool (seasonal opening hours), perfect for a relaxing swim. Just five minutes away, The Great Flat Lode Trail offers a fantastic route for walkers, runners, cyclists, and horse riders, encircling Carn Brea—the hill that overlooks the historic mining towns of Redruth and Camborne. For a longer ride, follow the Bissoe Trail to Portreath, with bike hire available if needed.
Cornwall is packed with breathtaking scenery, and Godrevy, a National Trust site, is a must-visit. With its dramatic cliffs, golden surfing beach, and scenic headland trails, it’s a paradise for walkers and nature lovers. A delightful caravan in a perfect location . Even the rainy weather couldn’t detract from local attractions Portreath and Porthtowan. Really enjoyed the stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. A big shout out to Penny who rang to check whether everything was okay and advised on local attractions. In conclusion a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Beautiful stay for me and my family in this nice, comfortable and beau caravan. Well comfy and felt like home, the site was nice and the kids enjoyed the swimming pool. I could write a whole book but in a nutshell, it was great and will definitely be back and hope to stay in the same van if available.
