One of seven charming, terraced holiday cottages which were newly refurbished in 2021, Carbis Wharf West Dry cottages have been carefully restored and converted from an original china clay 'dry' works building dating back to 1830. Water Wheels is a welcoming cottage, ideally located just six miles from the world renowned Eden Project, and 11 miles from Par Sands. Perfectly suited to families and friends, whether a small group, or for a large gathering, making use of the other lovely cottages along the terrace.

From the front parking area, enter the property directly onto the first floor and into a well-equipped dining kitchen providing plenty of workspace and storage to stock up on and prepare the delicious local Cornish produce. The dining table is generous and ideal for making magical holiday memories over a hearty breakfast or a special dinner. Three comfortable bedrooms are also located on the first floor, all with luxurious, excellent quality divan beds with thick sprung mattresses and wall mounted feature headboards. Choose from a king-size bed, a twin room with two single 3' beds, or the third bedroom which is also set up as twin singles, but offers the flexibility of zipping together to create a generous 6' super-king size bed on prior request. The family bathroom is fully tiled with a bath and overhead shower. From the hallway, stairs lead down to the ground floor where you will find an exceptionally spacious sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, a cosy electric fire set in a feature fireplace and television. A table and chairs at one end of the room invites evenings of raucous cards or board games. Open the french doors to the small terrace with seating. Here you can enjoy the soothing sound of the stream beyond, running down from the open moorland and through the perimeter of the complex.

Centrally located in mid Cornwall, Water Wheels is an ideal base for easy access for exploring all of beautiful Cornwall.
