About this property
This post card cottage is just 800 metres from the sandy beach and South West Coast path at Trevaunance Cove, just outside St Agnes. This cottage is in the heart of this traditional seaside village, perfect for couples and families and is set over two floors. Open the stable style front door to an open-plan living space with a cosy wood burner set in large granite inglenook fireplace. Neutral decor, small pane windows, thick walls and old beams combine with a comfortable sofa and armchairs and a rug on natural slate flooring. There is a modern compact kitchen with high-gloss cabinets topped with an oak worktop and equipped with all the mod cons.
Head up the staircase to two gorgeous bedrooms with pleasant garden views. The master bedroom has a delicious bed to sink into with Egyptian cotton bed linens and a large screen TV/DVD. The bunk bedroom is suitable for children. The pristine bathroom with a deep bath tub, overhead waterfall shower and hand-held shower is also located on the first floor. The garden is at the front of the cottage, surround by a low hedge and has a gravel path to the door, gravelled patio area with furniture. You can stroll to the beach which has a lifeguard service during the main season and is an excellent location for surfers with a surf school offering tuition for all abilities and equipment hire.
Stop for a proper Cornish ale or a delicious lunch with stunning coastal views at the Driftwood Spas Bistro or Schooners. Head along the coast path to iconic St Agnes Beacon for dramatic 360 degree views or along tall granite cliffs to the beaches of Porthtowan, Chapel Porth or Trevellas for a contrast in scenery.
St Agnes is a thriving picturesque village on the Cornish coast, with four beaches on the doorstep and surrounded by wonderful countryside. Swim or surf in the clear waters, walk the footpaths and bridleways or hop onto the South West Coast Path. Coasteering, kayaking and horse riding are all available locally, and St Agnes has a regular programme of events and gigs for all the family to enjoy.

Had a really lovely relaxing time in St Agnes plenty of places to eat and good walk to Trevaunance cove . Only down side outside garden chairs not really comfortable and felt unstable. Also sofa was a bit uncomfortable, but will be back !!!

Small but perfectly formed! Feedback to the owner (I know it's being sold so this may be irrelevant), sofa was rather uncomfortable and a couple of bottles of hand soap would have been a good idea....but we did enjoy staying here and even had a conversation about whether we could live here!

So much so that we have booked Rose cottage for the same time next year. The cottage is small but it was comfortable for the 2 of us and our dog. It is well equipped with everything you might need to make it home from home. We were lucky with the weather so managed to get out and about every day. The cottage is well positioned for visiting lots of lovely places. There are 4 pubs and a hotel within walking distance albeit a bit of a climb. Plenty of places to eat and 2 convenience stores. We canât wait to go back!
