Thank you so much to Paul and Sonya who are very kind, generous and welcoming hosts. Silvermine is spacious, super comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, very well resourced and maintained. We did not use the hot tub, but the younger members of our group enjoyed the gym and games room. The tranquil and beautiful view of the bay, the sound of birdsong made for a perfect respite from the busy-ness of the city. We had a wonderful time, made great memories and are looking forward to our return next Christmas.

the house was ready for us, complete with homemade fresh scones, jam and clotted cream (jam first people!). the house is immaculate, and incredibly well appointed. the beds are all comfortable, the bathrooms excellent, and the lounge area upstairs swallowed up all 9 of our party with ease. The hot tub got used every evening, and it was a wonderful way to relax after a long days holidaying in the local area. Everything we needed was ready and waiting in well organised drawers and cupboards, right down to a bottle of cooking oil (which we always forget). Sonya and Paul were always available if needed, but if not needed, you didn't even notice they were on site, apart from a cheery wave in the morning as they left for work. We really couldn't ask for more from a relaxing holiday, even the weather was pretty much perfect for the end of November! Thanks again guys, we will hopefully be back at some point in the future.

The owners were so helpful and had thought of everything we could need. The facilities were excellent with so much to do, the only negative we had was the oven/hob didnât heat up as easily as we would have liked while cooking for large numbers.
