Plenty of fun can be had in the charming hamlet of Pentewan where a large sandy beach can be reached via an off-road cycle trail, with bike hire available here along with kayak hire and a diving centre. Mevagissey is a quaint fishing village resting on the southern coast of Cornwall. The village is home to a harbour, an aquarium, a museum and a selection of amenities including cafés, tearooms, pubs and shops. Plenty of walks can be found in all directions with the South West Coast Path connecting you to the neighbouring villages, beaches and coves. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy reach and are a popular attraction, along with Caerhays Castle and the town of St Austell.
