Cherry Orchard Cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived. All decoration was "as new", as were all the kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils. However, you might want to investigate the apparent damp in the top/right of the upstairs brick chimney breast. We have two suggested minor improvements: - to free at least one of the four living room mains sockets, which were all occupied by the excellent WiFi/router and TV/video equipment - perhaps use a twin socket extension for the WiFi ? This would allow for a room light softer than the existing bright sunken overhead lights. - to provide a sheet or folder explaining how to turn on / set the two timed heaters (but we worked them out eventually). Maybe there was a manual, but we did not find it.

The only problem we had was we ran out of hot water and didnât know how to get it back on. We had to bath the kids in cold water as we didnât find out until the morning what to do. I think maybe a small house guide would be ideal with little helpful tips like this in. Other than that which was only minor we can not fault the cottage. It was a lovely home from home and will definitely be back. Location was ideal and having a car park space made it very easy especially with having kids.
