Take a short drive to the splendid town of St. Austell, where you can visit the beautiful Menacuddle Gardens, home to the historical landmark of Menacuddle Well, which is said to date back to the 15th century. Sample the local delights of St. Austell with a trip to the award-winning St.Austell Brewery, founded in 1851, where you can embark on a tour of the brewery and sample beers along the way, purchase gifts or mementos in the shop, or indulge in a delicious meal and cold pint at the Hicks Bar.
