A cosy two-seater sofa and a patterned armchair offer seating beside the wood burner, whilst a quaint country-style table for two sits at the centre of the room where meals cooked up in the kitchen can be served up each day. Exuding elegance, the bedroom has a quilted headboard, with Hypnos mattress and unique dual-aspect panoramic windows which certainly give it the ‘wow’ factor. Completing the cottage is the modern bathroom with its white tiled walls, p-shaped bath and rustic wooden features. The garden is furnished with a pretty patio table and chairs and BBQ where you can admire the countryside views which stretch for miles ahead, or catch a sunset during the warmer months of the year.
This area is a walker’s paradise, with so many trails within each reach including the Camel Trail (1 mile), the South West Coast Path (9 miles) and Bodmin Moor (5 miles) ensuring a fantastic mixture of coastal and countryside routes. Make for the coast and visit Polzeath Beach to relax on the soft sands, or head to Pentire Point for an awe-inspiring viewpoint. For a change of scenery, The Eden Project (19 miles) offers the opportunity to dine out on tapas in the Mediterranean biome or learn about the cocoa industry in the rainforest biome on a unique day out.
