If you can tear yourselves away from the site’s excellent facilities, you’ll find North Cornwall’s countryside and golden coastline at your feet. Newquay, the UK’s surf capital, is just 10.5 miles away and famous for its wide choice of beaches, many shops, pubs and restaurants, and popular attractions including Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Heading north, Wadebridge (7 miles) is perfect for scenic walks and bike rides along the Camel Trail to historic Bodmin (13 miles). Padstow (7.5 miles) is renowned for its world-class seafood restaurants and narrow streets filled with independent shops, as well as the little foot ferry that crosses the estuary to the chic village of Rock (13 miles by car).

An ramp leads into this bright and airy property, where you’ll be greeted by a light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The relaxing lounge area has ample seating and a TV, perfect for unwinding after a sociable meal around the central dining table. The elegantly arranged kitchen is fully equipped for rustling up your favourite dishes. Heading upstairs, you’ll find an additional glass-fronted lounge with a second TV and further seating, as well as a pool table, perfect for competitive evenings spent together. At the end of each memorable day away, take your pick from four restful bedrooms, including a double room and three flexible super-king-size bedrooms that all convert to twin rooms on request. Completing the accommodation are a refreshing family bathroom and an en-suite shower room.

Outside, you’ll find three fantastic spaces. From the first-floor living space, a glass-fronted balcony boasts outdoor seating and far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside. At ground-floor level, decked terraces on either side of the house await. The rear deck features soft outdoor seating and a covered hot tub, while the front deck offers more outdoor seating and a Mediterranean-style stone BBQ. You’ll also benefit from off-road parking for three cars. The wider resort features a range of excellent shared facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, children’s play area, tennis courts, and a bar/restaurant. At an additional cost, bookable resort facilities include a surf simulator, a seasonal outdoor aqua park, seasonal cable wakeboarding and water skiing, stand-up paddleboards, spa treatments, and access to a fishing lake.
