In the evenings, treat yourself to an indulgent bath or a rejuvenating shower before retiring for a well-earned sleep in one of the three, inviting bedrooms, including a king-size with its own en-suite shower and a Smart TV - a perfect retreat to unwind and refresh in after a long, fun-filled day. If you can tear yourself away from your tranquil new dwelling, head out into the village of Port Isaac to see what this peaceful, coastal settlement has to offer. Stock up on essentials at the Co-op Food, settle down for brunch at the Chapel Cafe, grab a pasty or three from Nicky B's Pasty Shop, and treat yourself to an ice cream from The Ice Cream Parlour before you spend a calming afternoon taking in sea views at Port Gaverne Beach. Further afield, a trip to nearby Polzeath will provide visitors a chance to soak up the sun on the lush sands of Polzeath Beach, tuck into some delicious seafood at the Cracking Crab, before wading along the brilliant, untamed landscapes of the stunning Pentire Point nature reserve. Perfect for any time of year, bring your loved ones for an unforgettable escape to Harbour Lights.

One of the real Cornish jewels is Port Isaac. The old village in the valley, a charming fishing community nestled in a valley with steep sides, has hardly altered since the previous century, when it was a centre for smuggling, slate export, and fishing. You can find a lot of little character homes mixed in with bigger cliff-top retreats, all with convenient access to the village's many eateries and shops. As the water recedes, the sandy harbour offers an abundance of rock pools. The village is a well-liked tourist destination with numerous of attractions, including the spectacular Doyden Castle, the lovely Lundy Bay, and the well-known Doc Martin's clinic. There is plenty of parking at the top of the village. The community is also home to a sizable number of bars, eateries, and shops. It is ideal for both romantic getaways and family vacations and is only a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer, and Rock.

Could not fault the standard of cleanliness. However, there were a few problems: The heating was sporadic, never knew what time it would come on - Monday it came on at 21:30!!! A welcome pack would have been a nice touch particularly after traveling four and a half hours. Wednesday just after 9 am thee men apeared in the garden and started leafblowing, jetwashing the steps and patio and weeding - luckily we were up and had planned to be out for the day. Pre warning would have been nice!! A visitors book would be useful so that guest could share their experiences, excursions and dining recommendations whilst staying in this fabulous area of north Cornwall. Only criticism is that it would have been nice to have a few logs supplied for at least when you arrive so you can light the fire. Apart from that the property was great.
