On the ground floor is an open-plan sitting room with a dining area and galley kitchen featuring a beautiful slate floor and a low, beamed ceiling. Upstairs hosts a king-size double bedroom with harbour views, and an en-suite shower room with basin and WC. Sit in bed with your morning coffee and watch the fishermen in the harbour bustling to and from, before you head out for a day exploring the coastline for yourself.
Wander the streets of Port Isaac and grab a drink from one of the pubs, and if you’re lucky listen to the local singers ‘Fisherman’s Friends’ perform on the “Platt” (harbour), or dine on local seafood at the celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw’s restaurant in the village. For a fun day out, Tintagel Castle is around 11 miles away, whilst Wadebridge is approximately 8 miles away where you can hire a bike and cycle the beautiful Camel Trail all the way to Padstow for a delicious lunch.

A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. Only ten minutes drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike. There is ample parking at the top of the village.

.. clean, comfy and characterful, with everything we needed. The For Sale sign outside does attract a lot of attention from passers-by stopping to take photos so we felt quite public at times!...Several people asked us what it was going for and we did overhear someone say "I bet it has a lovely garden!" Just one thing... we thought about bringing a summer weight duvet from home just in case as have stayed in other places where they use 10 tog duvets in summer. The same happened here...I'll be bringing my own duvet in future but it would be nice if a choice of a 4.5 summer duvet was possible. Overall though, a great place to stay!

No ironing board and the phone number was unobtainable when I called I did report it to Sykes and had nothing back not even an acknowledgement also had a car parked in my space from Samson cottage - tracked the owner down and asked them to move it and reported it to Sykes who again just shrugged their shoulders and did nothing , appallingly bad customer service in effect saying tough - you are on your own

We were not warned of this and had to park in the main car park. Television too small and not enough stations. But on the bright side that bed......so comfortable with a wonderful view from the window and a perfect location.
