There is also a separate sitting room featuring an open fire, wonderful for warming up by after a brisk walk. The kitchen is superbly equipped, and also has a light and bring dining area with a large sash window and roof lights, a super spot for a quick breakfast before heading to the beach!

On the first floor is a family bathroom and four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, whilst on the second floor is a final double bedroom with amazing vaulted ceiling, accessed via a separate staircase from the ground floor.

Head outside to the south-facing garden and terrace, with patio furniture and sea glimpses, providing a superb spot for families to gather for a mouth-watering al fresco lunch in the North Cornwall sunshine.

Situated in a lovely part of old Port Isaac, the famous landmark called ‘the Platt’ and the harbour are just a five-minute walk, as are the village’s impressive array of eateries and shops - don’t forget to visit one of Nathan Outlaw’s two fish restaurants for a tasty supper. Meanwhile, the beach at Port Gaverne is a 10-minute walk, whilst the surfing hot spots of Polzeath and Daymer Bay are just a 20-minute drive away.

For a family break for up to nine people, Morwenna offers excellent accommodation, providing a well located and functional base from which to experience this fishing village and the surrounding area.
