The bustling town of Wadebridge is a ten minute drive from Rooke Cottages and where you will find access onto the famous Camel bicycle trail as well as a selection of independent, quality shops and restaurants. Three supermarkets are located in Wadebridge along with the normal high street banks and Post Office.
The popular surfing and family sandy beach at Polzeath is just 6 miles by car from Rooke Cottages with the picturesque village of Port Isaac just 3 miles by car.
