Mevagissey 5 miles. This comforting, neutral cottage rests peacefully amidst the serene countryside of Cornwall, just a stone's throw from the village of Tregony and five miles from the lovely Mevagissey and the idyllic Roseland Peninsula in the other direction. Enjoying a sublime location for touring this tremendous area, and offering homely accommodation for six guests, this is a wonderful stay for families or friends seeking a break away from it all. The property benefits from thoughtful reverse-level accommodation, allowing the inviting living area to take full advantage of the breath-taking vista on offer. The two bedrooms, sat on the ground floor, are made up of a tasteful master room featuring a Smart TV and a pristine en-suite shower room, while the other room both boast twin single beds. This level also plays host to a slick, all-white family bathroom. Climb the stairs to reach the welcoming first floor, with a further twin room, be greeted by an open-plan living area resting underneath the stunning exposed beams. The refreshing, light décor brings a modern feel, with the well-appointed kitchen, snug sitting area and magnificent views towards the Roseland Peninsula making this a superb spot to put your feet up deservedly. Hawthorn Cottage's excellence continues to its exterior, here you will find a glorious south-facing garden; including a lawn for the dog to stretch its legs on whilst you relax with an ice cold drink and the BBQ on the go. Tregony is a friendly village just over two miles away, a lovely base for your break as it offers the essentials of a pub, a restaurant and a couple of shops. The wonderful, traditional fishing village of Mevagissey is only 5 and a half mikes The village sits conveniently equidistant from the magical cathedral city of Truro, and the characterful town of St Austell - both are within eight miles. For jaw-dropping coastal views, head to the picturesque Roseland Heritage Coast, a landscape bursting with character, beaches, scenery and more.
