The rear garden which backs on to open farmland offers privacy and a wonderful place to dine outside or lounge in the sun.  From Little Tregonna, a footpath takes you to Little Petherick Creek where you can pick up the Saint's Way (an ancient route from Padstow to Fowey on the South Coast) and the Camel Trail with its 18 miles of largely traffic free and virtually level disused railway track fantastic for cyclists of all abilities. Within a short drive you have the historic, working fishing port of Padstow and in the other direction the lovely town of Wadebridge with its many independent shops. Trevone Bay with its golden sands and adjoining rocky beach which is great for rock pooling is a 10-minute drive and several other spectacular sandy beaches are close by. Nearby St Issey has two pubs and the renowned Journeyman restaurant.
