We stayed in the Beach Retreat with two small dogs. We enjoyed our stay. The retreat is in need of a little bit of TLC, however this did not stop us enjoying our stay. The only thing is if you can, take a dehumidifier, it's very humid and this really helped us a lot. The location is great for visiting St Ives and surrounding area.

The accommodation was rather narrow. The two bedrooms are not really separated, because the wooden walls aren't high enough. They end far under the ceiling. You can hear the person in the other room and see the light. It's difficult to prepare the meals because of the tight room and cooking is to smell in the whole destination. The water pressure is very low, means washing up ore wash your teeth...The internet doesn't work reliable. You have coincidence only sometimes. There is a very strong sewer stench from time to time.

Good location and lovely setting .That’s about all .The retreat is more like being in a souped up garden shed along with musty smell and very dated .Everything overgrown could go on & on Needs complete revamp .Very disappointed. not worth even half the money we paid .Won’t be booking with you again .
