The kitchen and sitting area forms the open plan living space, which is bathed in natural light from the large glass patio doors, making the whole relaxing space light and airy, themed in a calming neutral palette, set the mood lighting, cosy up on the contemporary leather sofa or comfy chairs, comfortably seating four, and enjoy the entertainment on the large television with full Sky package, including cinema and sports, a seaward facing balcony can be accessed through the patio doors, with stunning views across St Ives bay.

A separate dining room is conveniently placed off the kitchen, a glass top table and four stylish chairs offer a lovely setting for family meals or entertaining.

The contemporary open plan kitchen sits within the living area, its well-appointed with graphite units and beautiful granite effect worktops, with two stools for guests to socialise with the chef, it has everything you need for your stay, a separate utility room off the hallway houses a washer/dryer.

St Ives has a variety of cafes and restaurants if you fancy a night out, including the award winning Porthminster Beach café, set right on the beach and just a short walk from Kara, the town is centred around a working harbour which supplies a daily catch of fresh sea food, it’s pretty cobbled streets are filled with independent shops and art galleries, St Ives unique light has inspired artists worldwide some of the more famous have their work celebrated in its largest gallery, Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden.



The South West Coast Path is a wonderful cliffside walk around the county, accessed nearby, locally you can head towards Zenor or Carbis Bay and Hayle Estuary in the other direction, Carbis Bay Beach is a glorious stretch of golden sand with turquoise water lapping its shores, this lifeguarded beach at peak times is wonderful for enjoying water sports, for a relaxing return journey to St Ives hop on the scenic railway, it runs along the coast with sea views all the way.

For a little adventure experience the canopy walkway across the top of the rainforest at the Eden Project, or discover the Lost Garden of Heligan, both are near St Austell, or venture out to the magical castle at low tide along the causeway to St Michaels Mount, near Penzance, for something more dramatic take in a show at Cornwall’s open air theatre, The Minack, cut out of a Cornish cliff with the Atlantic Ocean for a backdrop, near Land’s End, the little ones will enjoy Newquay Zoo or feeding the animals at Paradise Park in Hayle.
