With quality bedding and fabulous styling, they provide comfortable retreats after days spent on the beach or exploring the town. Superb bathrooms add to the sense of comfort, with contemporary fittings and clean-lined design throughout.
For coastal escapes with excellent beaches, food and shopping, St Ives is a dream, and this holiday home rests mere metres from it all. Bamaluz Beach is quieter than the town’s bigger beaches and allows dogs all year round. The Harbour is literally a stone’s throw from the front door, while Fore Street’s restaurants, delis, bakeries and galleries are no more than a five-minute walk. Neighbouring Porthgwidden Beach is three minutes on foot, and Porthmeor Beach and Café, along with the Tate St Ives, is around six minutes.
Mermaids 3 shares a building with Mermaids 2 below. Both have their own entrances and are completely separate when booked individually. For larger guest parties of up to 10, a door next to the kitchen can be unlocked and opened up to combine both properties into one large coastal home.
This property is accessed via 12 external steps and has two internal staircases

The living area is on the first floor and has a large sofa and two armchairs, a huge Smart TV with Freeview and a Bluetooth speaker
Dining Area
Also on the first floor and open to the living room, the dining area has a spacious table with ten chairs, making it ideal for gathering over breakfast before heading to the beach or sharing supper at the end of the day. Doors open to the furnished terrace where stunning sea views are displayed
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven with integrated grill, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Smaller appliances include a kettle, toaster and Nespresso pod coffee machine, while a wine cooler is a welcome addition for longer stays.
Utility
A utility cupboard off the hallway houses a washer / dryer. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also provided

With one of the best positions in St Ives, the property has a large sea-facing balcony/terrace with plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing. Looking directly over Bamaluz Beach and the bay beyond, it catches the sun throughout the day and provides a wonderful place to sit with a morning coffee or evening drink. String lights overhead add a magical touch to evenings spent together, chatting and watching the sun set
Parking
For additional cars, the long stay Island Car Park is a minute’s walk from the property but please note that this car park is very popular so space availability is limited during the busier months
