Guests say

Guests consistently praise Amal Anpras for its exceptional cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location in Tintagel, offering both tranquility and proximity to local shops and pubs. The property is well-equipped, spacious, and offers stunning rural views, making it an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. While there is a mention of a minor issue with facilities and an administrative hiccup with an extension request, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviewers frequently highlight the property's spotless condition and the high standard of cleanliness. The term 'immaculate' is used, indicating exceptional cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, being central in Tintagel with easy access to shops, pubs, and coastal walks, while also offering peaceful rural views. The proximity to local amenities and attractions is a recurring positive theme.

Comfort is a standout feature, with guests noting the property's spaciousness, well-equipped rooms, and quality furnishings. The accommodation caters to various group sizes and is described as accommodating and pleasant.

Facilities are generally regarded as modern and well-equipped. However, one review mentioned a list of items needing improvement or repair, and another noted a discrepancy regarding pet policies. These isolated incidents slightly affect the otherwise excellent feedback.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of a welcome pack and regular communication. While such gestures are appreciated, it is noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Can highly recommend and would definitely return.

Close proximity to the town centre with level access and walking. A secure garden for our son's Cocker Spaniel. Off road parking for two cars. Sufficient spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Our experience was that our expectations were met! The level of comfort in the settees and beds was excellent. Levels of quality in the furnishings, bathrooms, kitchen, equipment, etc, also excellent. Our preference would have been for all chair seating at the dining table but we knew in advance that it included two bench seats. (Our party was an 80 year old, celebrating her birthday and researching where she was born and baptised, having left Cornwall when she was 2! Her 76 year old husband, their daughter and son and his dog. So, all adults.) The level of equipment was excellent, although we would have welcomed a more detailed inventory, before we visited. We unnecessarily lugged a slow-cooker and iron with us, only to find that such items were already provided! Amal Anpras proved to be a really good base to stay and to tour the area from. Our daughter has expressed interest in returning and bringing her husband and children, two sons, 12 and 9 and her 6 year old daughter, realising how well the accommodation and location would work for them.
