This modern, semi-detached, stone-built Tintagel cottage enjoys wonderful distant coastal views and has a spacious and bright open plan living area, simply but comfortably furnished and including a woodburner. It opens out to a private, enclosed garden that catches the sun all day - just made for escaping the stresses of modern living. It was also lovely and quiet. I enjoyed revisiting favourite spots. It was spotlessly clean and I didnât want for anything. Iâm still trying to get used to just me and my dog as my husband, a constant companion, died late last year, so the cottage was ideal for one as well. The only thing was I got the impression I would see the sea from inside the house! But the sea views are from the garden/patio. The enclosed patio/garden was ideal to contain a hound with those lovely Cornish dry slate walls. Thoroughly recommend.

Having to walk through the bathroom to the bedroom was a shock, and the privacy doors were too heavy for me to move. Lack of a bedside table or reading light on the left side of the bed was an issue. The photo of the apartment shows mostly the main house rather than the Apartment. Marion, Sept. 2025

Nowhere to put glasses, cups etc when relaxing on the sofas. Steps down to the cottage are somewhat dangerous especially when wet. The risers differ in height unexpectedly. More powerful bulb needed in the bedside light. Other than these a very comfortable place to stay especially if a walker.
