Set in the heart of Tintagel, a village world famous for its history, myths and stunning scenery, is The Blue House, a delightful, upside down holiday home. Drive through the electric gated entrance and you are away from the hustle and bustle of this enchanting village. Park alongside the property and enter via a short staircase into the beautiful living area, with wood burner, where your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning balcony and the amazing views it offers, ideal for alfresco dining whatever the time of day! Also on the first floor, within the living area, are the sitting and the dining areas and a well-equipped kitchen. Then it's downstairs to the three bedrooms, with the main king-size bedroom benefiting from French doors that lead right out onto the patio. There is also a zip/link bedroom with the option of being a king-size double or a twin, and a further bedroom with bunk beds, offering combinations to suit all. There is so much to see and do right on the doorstep, plus a host of interesting shops, excellent restaurants, pubs and takeaways a short walk away, this really is the perfect location for a holiday. Add the fact that you are right on the stunning North Cornwall coastline, with an array of beaches within easy reach, and you have the makings of a holiday that you will never forget!
Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the SW Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. A great starting point for exploring the Cornwall’s northern coastline.
